Ich habe Logitech c920 eingerichtet. Mit Hilfe eines erfahrenen Ask Ubuntu-Benutzers habe ich hier GUVCview, Video4 Linux Control Panel und QT V4L2 Utility Tester installiert. Ich kann mit GUVCview von der integrierten Webcam meines Toshiba zu meiner externen Webcam wechseln.
Wenn ich jedoch einen Videochat auf Google Hangouts starte, wählt es automatisch meine eingebaute Laptop-Kamera als Standard aus. Ich möchte meine Standardeinstellungen so ändern, dass immer eine externe Kamera verwendet wird, aber ich kann diese Option nicht finden.
Ich verwende Windows 7 und Ubuntu 12.04 LTS auf dem Toshiba Satellite L755

BEARBEITEN:Ich habe Gstreamer-properties ausprobiert im Terminal und geänderte Standardeingabe unter Video auf externe Logitech-Kamera. Immer noch kein Glück. Wenn ich „teste“, bekomme ich kein Bild und bekomme immer noch eine Laptop-Kamera, wenn ich GUVC öffne.

Wenn ich Gstreamer-properties ausführe Im Terminal bekomme ich den Multimedia-Selektor. Ich ändere den Standardeingang auf extern, das blaue Licht an der externen Kamera leuchtet auf (wenn ich „Test“ drücke), aber kein Bild.

und ließ das durch das Terminal laufen. Nach ein paar Minuten war das Script fertig und mir sind keine Ausfälle oder Fehler aufgefallen. Als ich dann jedoch sudo gstreamer-properties ausführte Ich habe die gleichen „Skipping unavailable plugin“-Meldungen wie oben erhalten^. Die Standardeingabe in der Multimedia-Systemauswahl ist auf c920 HD cam eingestellt, aber ich habe gerade GUVC geöffnet und es öffnet die Laptop-Kamera. Hier ist die Anzeige nach sudo apt get install …. ZU VIELE ZEICHEN, konnte nicht posten. Hier ist die Hälfte:

Nun, diese Art fiel tot ins Wasser. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich noch einen Thread aufmachen soll oder was. Ich versuche einfach, meine externe Webcam zu meiner Standard-Webcam zu machen. Ich habe Gstreamer installiert (im Bild) Ich habe die Auswahl für Multimedia-Systeme installiert. Ich habe Standardeinstellungen in der Multimedia-Systemauswahl, die ich bei Webcam c920 festlegen kann, und doch, wenn ich Video-Chat oder GUVC öffne, wird die Laptop-Kamera geöffnet.
Ich habe etwas Hilfe dazu bekommen und bin durchgezogen. Aber ich kann es immer noch nicht zum Laufen bringen. Hat jemand eine Idee oder soll ich woanders posten? Danke

Basierend auf der Antwort von @hopeithelps scheint es, dass Programme /dev/video0 als Standard-Webcam verwenden. Auf meinem System ist /dev/video0 anfänglich die integrierte Kamera, während /dev/video1 automatisch erscheint/verschwindet, wenn die externe Webcam angeschlossen/abgenommen wird.
Also habe ich nur einen einfachen Befehl geschrieben um /dev/video0 so einzustellen, dass es auf die „beste verfügbare Kamera“ zeigt – die Webcam, falls vorhanden, und ansonsten die integrierte Kamera. Derzeit muss ich dieses Skript nach dem Ein-/Ausstecken der Webcam manuell aufrufen. Allerdings das Mikrofon schaltet automatisch auf das „beste Mikrofon“, weil ich dieser askUbuntu-Antwort gefolgt bin.
Rant:Sollte Ubuntu nicht einen einheitlichen Ansatz für das Hot-Plugging von Display, Kamera, Lautsprecher, Mikrofon (und auch Tastatur, Maus, MIDI, …) haben? All diese Dinge scheinen separates Basteln zu erfordern. Ich denke, gnome-display-manager hat das ideale Design:Er erinnert sich an meine alten Einstellungen, wenn ich ein Display anschließe, das ich zuvor verwendet habe.

Getestet mit guvcview und Google Hangouts unter Verwendung von zwei verschiedenen Logitech-Webcams. Ich verwende Ubuntu 13.10 (eigentlich Mint Petra) auf einem Thinkpad T530i.
Verwandte:Upgrade von 10.04 auf 11.04?Möglicherweise müssen Sie das Skript bearbeiten, wenn Ihre Webcam als /dev/video3 oder so angezeigt wird, wie dies bei @hopeithelps der Fall ist. (Vielleicht hätte ich es dazu bringen sollen, das /dev/video*-Gerät auszuwählen, das den neuesten Zeitstempel hat …)
